Vaccines for Children Under Age 5 Authorized & Available
A COVID vaccine is now widely available for anyone ages 6 months old and older. The FDA authorized the COVID vaccines for children ages 6 months up to age 5 and on June 18, CDC Director Dr. Walensky endorsed their advisory committee’s recommendation. The authorization is for both Pfizer and Moderna brand vaccines. We explain.
