New Office of Environmental Justice
The US Department of Health and Human Services has established a new ”Office of Environmental Justice.” The new Office will be focused on the environmental risks and health issues facing underserved communities and will serve as a center for policy, programming, and analysis. It will focus on developing environmental justice initiatives, reports, and workforce and will sit within the Office of Climate Change and Health Equity at HHS. We explain.
