Big changes! Snap benefits, food stamps for the low income this year
In this video, we are discussing some big changes that will be implemented to the snap benefit program also referred to as supplemental nutrition assistance program also referred to as food stamps specifically focused on low income beneficiaries. There are roughly 43, million Americans all across the country who are receiving benefits from the snap benefit program otherwise known as food stamps this year in 2023. As a result of this, we are discussing some big changes potentially coming out of Congress later this year as they will be renegotiating the farm bill which is negotiated once every five years and this could also implement some changes to the supplemental nutrition assistance program also referred to as snap benefits or food stamps. We want to focus on this and discuss the details as well as any potential changes to benefits for the low income and fixed income beneficiaries. As we get further details, we will certainly bring it to your attention. We also often talk about Social Security, SSDI, SSI and other low income benefits.
